Using Luminate Online as an email solution with Altru

Options
We are transitioning to Luminate Online as our email marketing solution while continuing to use Altru as our database of record. However, the creation of mirrored records in LO and the inability to update Altru constituent records with email activity and unsubscribes is problematic. 


Does anyone else use Altru and LO together and what advice to you have to keep records up to date in Altru?

    We are not currently using Luminate Online but are in the process of transitioning from Raisers Edge to Altru and are exploring E-Mail Marketing Solutions that connect with Altru (through Omatic?).  I would interested in connecting with folks that are further ahead on this path that have evaluated the different options.

  • I was looking at Omatic's website for something else and came across this:

    Looks like they have an EAP for this. I would definitely reach out to Omatic and see what this entails.


    We use Omatic for our sync between LO and RE.

    We have been working with Omatic for some time but are still experiencing difficulties logging email activity (unsubs/interests) back into Altru. 


    I'd be interested in hearing from anyone else that has developed a successful Altru>Luminate email workflow when sending to broad marketing lists (that are constantly being updated by constituents in responses to emails) and more targeted members lists based on event attendance/membership expiration date/donation amount... etc.
