Getting a Total Giving History for Donors Assigned to a Solicitor

We are in the middle of cleaning up all of our old assigned solicitors and I know I can run a Solicitor Performance report, but I want to show total amount of all giving for each person that is assigned to a solicitor. What would be the easiest/best way to go about doing this?

    Could you simply create a query of all constituents assigned to a solicitor and then run a giving report (or export) based off that query?  We do variations of that all the time.  We often include "Last Action Date" in the export so we can target the people who haven't been contacted in a while....

    Okay that sounds like what I need to do...will give it a shot.  we have way too many constituents that are solicitors going back like 15 years (some of them are deceased!) so we want to review each donor assigned   Such a beast!
