Export Organization contact - Spouse name and Position

I have a couple Individual relationships/ contacts on an Organization record. I want to export not only their name and  address but also the name of the contacts spouse.

Is this possible?

Also it seems to not pick up the Position on the contacts record. What am I missing?

    To pull both contact and their spouse, you need an add/sal format on the contact record with both names. At least that's one way I know of to get it.  This is making the assumption that spouse is recorded as spouse and that contact has a RE record that the relationship is linked to here.  If your contact does not have a record in RE you'd have to manually edit the spouse names into the add/sal.

    I actually added an add/sal names Contact where I can populate it with either the single individual's name or can pull in add/sal format with spouse for the businesses that are family owned.


    Position - needs to be pulled from the options under Contact not Address. Think you're just pulling from the wrong list.

    I'll have to setup an addressee/salutation for the spouse then.


    For the Position, that would make sense too, but I do not see it as an option under contacts.a16ad106c2af0c924f54c4aa2e734a87-huge-co

    Never mind, I found my error. It is pulling from the correct list. But I had not checked "Print" in the contact record.

    Was wondering about that checkbox.


    Interesting - for consitituent export I have option of position under Relationships > Contacts > Position.

    When you use relationship/ contacts it exports all contacts in one row. I needed them in separate rows.

    With a constituent export they will be on one line (one constituent and all their info).  Have you tried an Individual Relationship export? Don't know much about how that one works as I've never used that option but logic would be that each relationship would have it's own line.


    Another possible option depending on what data you need and for what purpose would be to use query and export from there. With query each relationship will create its own line so constituent will be listed multiple times. Might be a case where the 'grouping' tool works best to get what you need.

    Thank you Joann, the original Export works for me now, including the Position after I checked "print" ;-) They already come out in separate rows. I just wanted to explain why I cannot use the Relationship/ Contact tree.
