Blackbaud Utilization Survey

Hello everyone, We recently heard about a new Utilization Survey that Blackbaud has developed, that can survey users about their work and use of the system. Apparently it provides a report back indicating who might need additional training, or could be using additional features. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has used the survey or is considering doing so.

    This is an area that UBC is quite interested in exploring as well.  We've wanted to use activity in the database to inform and support training and User-Support for a little while, but it's been on the back-burner for us.  We would be interested in seeing a Utilization Survey or report of user's usage of the system as well.

    You can also put U-M on the list of those who would be interested in this type of functionality.   Is there a contact at Blackbaud that can tell us more about this?

  • Sorry this took so long to respond but I had to do some digging. Also, your Customer Success Managers of the PAG have been informed of this service this morning so they should be ready for your questions.


    I just learned of a non-bill assessment service from Blackbaud.  Have you done a comprehensive technology utilization assessment in the last year? If not, this is an opportunity for you to gather a cross divisional collection of information on your teams’ processes and software utilization.  The benefit will be to see where you are doing well and identify areas that may be at risk or not fully using the investment you have made in technology. Blackbaud has built an online survey that is persona based; that means that when a user clicks the survey link they will see a list of roles.  They select their role from that list and then will only get questions related to them.  After the survey closes you will receive a report with the survey results.  Contact your Customer Success Manager if you have more questions.
