Editable Additional Addressee/Salutation in a Constituent Batch

Good morning all,


I am trying to make one of my seven additional addressee/salutations editable in my constituent batch and cannot get it to work. I have tried everything I can think of: moved the add/sal to the bottom/top/middle, moved the editable field to the top/bottom, checked/unchecked the box in the Default Value column on the Defaults tab, etc. It doesn't matter where I add the "Editable" field, it will not make this particular add/sal editable. It will make my first additional add/sal editable unless I move the one I need to be editable to the top! I've chatted with BB support and was told that it can't be done, but unless something has changed with the 7.96 version, I know this can be done. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    We've also had issues with the Editable indicator, not in a constituent batch like you mention but when importing new records.  For some reason the editable indicator creates a problem. What we've had to do is to import the records, then go back and create an export file which exports out the Editable indicator, change from FALSE to TRUE, and reimport.  That's the only way we've been able to handle this indicator in any automated way.  It seems to be problematic.
