Generating Batch Numbers

We just converted to RE in March and our batch numbers are generating automatically with a prefix of 2017-#### .... which is what we want for now.  Our fiscal year runs July 1 through June 30th.  For batches beginning for gifts received on July 1st, we would like the batch number prefix to be 2018-####.  Does anyone else have this scenario or know how to set the Business Rules under Batch options to get it set up this way?

    You go to the Business Rules section in configuration and you can change it there. Go to batch options.

    Hi Andrea

    We do this at my organization as well. I set up Batch Folders for each year so you don't have an endless stream of Batch numbers (if you choose to show committed Batches in your view)
