Query Problem - giving 15 years or more not necessarily consecutive

Options
I have done queries to find donors who gave consecutively for a number of years but I now want to query for any donor who gave at least for 15 years but NOT necessarily consecutive years.  Anyone know if and how this can this be done?

Thanks,

Eileen

Eileen, most often done by creating an export with summary field for each year, exported to excel and manually totals/manipulated there.  Some info can be pulled using a pivot report.  There have been a number of posts with a lot of detail on how to do this if you can search the forums.  I'd try 'non or not consecutive years' 'X of Y years' 'consecutive years' as search terms.

Export takes some time to set up as you'll need field for each year in your range.  You can use all records or  create a query of donors who've given durig a certain time and could add a filter for at least X # of gifts.

Thanks JoAnn.  I was kind of afraid that the answer would be setting up the export with fields for each year.   I will first try a search as suggested to see if anything different comes up. But I believe will just have to set aside some quiet time and get it done.  I appreciate your help.

  •  I've found that an export like this while cumbersome to build is a useful one to have. I keep a template for one that I copy and save each year and just change the dates to include the current FY.
