Best Practices--Integrating Luminate Online gifts in RE

Hi Community--


We're trying to figure out best practices with Integrating gifts and contact info into RE.  We've received a few donations (our forms have been live for only a few weeks) with home email addresses.  The donors have given in the past with a work email.  What do you do when you want to record both email addresses or phone numbers, etc?   Create a duplicate constiuent record and then merge the info or simply copy the new info and record it after the gift as been batched and committed?

    Are you looking to record the new email on their RE record, or do you want to update their LO username in RE? What I've done so far is just add the new email to their RE record and keep one record.


    Also, are you using the RELO connector to import your gifts and constituents? If you set your parameters to match just on name, you should be able match folks up even with a new email.
