Hi,

I am creating a New Event in RE 7, and have been asked if there is a spot where the registrants could add a specific note. The actual request was "is there a spot where a registrant would be able to specify who they would like to be seated by". Can anyone help me with this?

    We have used the Group/seating notes field quite often to track information like this.

    We use participant attributes and add to the registration form.

    I think you can do this with a Participant Attribute.
    • You could create a participant attribute like 'Please seat me with:' and specify this as Text.
      • It looks like the attribute Description field can handle a good amount of text (if they need to type in names of multiple people)
    • You can then add the participant attribute on the online event registration form.
      • You used to have to use the Classic form but now I think you can also add attributes on the newer form as well.
    • When you process the event registration, the data will come back on that attribute for the participant.
