in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT®: General Discussion
My school is researching digital wallets to use with younger alumni donations and one of the more popular ones with our alumni is Venmo.  Does anyone have any experience working with this particular digital wallet who can give me some insight into how it works and if it is be possible to use with a RE7 webhosted environment?  Thanks!

    I'm following your post. And am willing to vote on any idea suggestions.

    We recently asked about Apple Pay and Google Wallet and was told that Blackbaud had no immediate plans to support these payment options. My guess is this would be no different.

    Very interesting idea. Since Venmo acts as its own processor (I believe), it wouldn't integrate directly into RE.  You could likely batch gifts/constituents to get them into the system. This problem also happens if you use the Blackbaud MobilePay device (which is frustrating because it is a BBMS product).


    In doing some Googling, it looks like Venmo is trying to get into the "group" market. This solution seems like it may work, especially at an event.


    I'm a bag fan of using what donors prefer, so I'm excited to hear how this might turn out!
