Our agency is using Team Raiser for the first time this year for our 5K. In the system we previously used, donors were able to leave a message to the fundraiser when they made a donation to the page. The message would then show up on the participants page along with the donation amount. Is this feature available in TR?

    Donors can include a message with their donation if you add the field to the donation form, but it's a private message to the fundraiser. I don't think there's a way to display them.

    Hey Tracy,


    Unfortunately, there isn't the same functionality in TeamRaiser.  You can reuse the donation field "Recognition Name" as a short message, but it has a character limit of 50 spaces.  This displays in the donor honor roll on the personal pages next to the donation amount. 


    The other option is to enable Facebook Comments widget on your personal and team pages to allow donors and friends to post supportive messages.  https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/comments/

    Re: Donor Notes that Brian mentions


    In 16.3, there's currently a bug that makes donor notes unavailable in the participant center.

    However, that bug is fixed in 16.4!

    Bulk options:
    1. Write a report to get the cons_ids of a participant's donors.
    2. Export and trim to just cons_id, name, date - save as .csv
    3. Write iMacro script to search within the interactions tab of cons records
      1. Navigate to the interactions tab, filter for "donations" interactions, then search for "2016" and WAIT. Manually click on the donation interactions that matches, I found it was eaiser to manually copy and paste the donor note into excel rather than doing an export via iMacro.

    Otherwise, Ryan's idea of Facebook Comments is totally legit. Many clients do that.
