Why is there only ONE GIANT forum for all of Luminate Online?

Options

Why isnt there separate forums for people in different capacities? I want to be subscribed to I can keep up to date on questions and answers that may help me but I do not work in the website or on designing emails so most of the posts are unrelated to me and my work.

I maintain the CRM database, run the Raiser's Edge Connector, and run reports. Why aren't there subforums? I am tempted to unsubscribe and not participate in the community.

We combined most things under larger umbrellas because we had so many boards in our previous community that had one visitor per year. This design enables more chances that someone will find or see something new.

I'm working on a functionality where you will be able to subscribe to your searches. So you'll be able to search "Advocacy" and then subscribe to that search and every time a new post with "Advocacy" is created the system will send you an email alert. I'm hoping to have that up very soon.

I see value in the option you are going to suggest but I would have no clue the endless number of search criteria I would have to set to try to get all possible CRM posts I would hope to be included in. Unless you are going to force a static list of tags on people I think I would miss too much for the community to remain of value to me.

It seems like a great option but not as valuable as subforums would be. I have not been an active community member long but I do not see that a single umbrella forum was a good move.

For CRM there's just one board with only CRM info in it. You can subscribe to the Luminate CRM board to get only CRM info.

Where is that. I have never seen such a thing - there is not a single link to that from the main community page.

I am honestly so confused right now.

Feedback for Convio. I consider myself a pretty intelligent person but your names are totally confusing me. Luminate CRM and the CRM in Convio (Constituent 360) are not the same thing, correct? I want to have a forum where I can post questions and only see other people's posted questions aboout managing the database of people in Convio. Plain and simple.

You can click "Product Forums" in the drop-down under "Community" in the nav-bar or on any page where there is a Community Navigator widget you can see the "Luminate CRM" board. I've put a screenshot below:
