Emoji in Preview Text

Hi! Is it possible to include an emoji in the preview text?
We are successfully using emojis in the subject line. This might be a silly question, but can we do the same in the preview text?
Apologies if this has already been asked--I haven't been able to find the answer.

This article is 4 years old, so I would recommend testing in LO to make sure this will still work.
