Raiser's Edge Membership Reports Issue with Different Results

Blacbaud needs to address the issue of Membership Reports which when using the same criteria, each report produces a different result. For instance in getting the number of memberships for FY23 here are the various results:

Membership Statistics by Catergory: 1452

Comparative Membership Statistics: 1550

Membership List/Directory: 1253

Membership Query List: 1471

All the above are using the exact same criteria, yet as can be seen 4 different results. Talk to support really did not yield an appropriate answer for the differences. I am sure many people who use the membership module would like to have a consistant reporting process.

In other reports, I can run an appeal report, a gift summary report and a query and get all the same results, but with the membership reporting, it seems to be so inconsistent. That is a major issue.
