How do I configure TeamRaiser user pages?

Options

The TeamRaiser User Pages are the Web pages that site visitors and users see when they make donations, register for the TeamRaiser, form or join a team, and so on. You may use the pages with the default setup or you may customize them.

These Web pages include:

u Greeting page that serves as the home page for your TeamRaiser and contains the links for site visitors to locate the registration, donation, and participant pages

u Registration pages that collect information about the volunteers who will be raising money for your event and enable them to get started

u Participant Center pages that provide your volunteers with the online tools to effectively and easily solicit donations

u Team pages if you specify that participants can form teams

The pages display with default links to other TeamRaiser pages. You can replace the links with buttons that you have created and labeled with each function.

To enhance your TeamRaiser Web pages, you can use a JPEG or GIF image file to display as the banner graphic on each page. The image must fit in a 500x400 pixel space (the system automatically resizes JPEG images, but you must manually resize your GIF to the 500x400 pixel size before adding it). Image files must be less than 2MB.

After you open and preview each page, you can make modifications as necessary and then click the Complete checkbox to indicate that the page is ready.

Important: The system will not allow you to publish the TeamRaiser until you have clicked the checkbox for each TeamRaiser User page in the list.

To configure the TeamRaiser User Pages:

1. Click TeamRaiser Pages from the third-level navigation bar (or, click the Configure User Pages link in the Configuration Checklist on the TeamRaiser Information page).

2. To display an image banner on all of your TeamRaiser Web pages:

a Click the Browse button to locate and Open a JPEG or GIF image file on your computer or a shared network resource. The image must fit in a 500x400 pixel space (the system automatically resizes JPEG images, but you must manually resize your GIF to the 500x400 pixel size before adding it.). Image files must be less than 2MB.

b Click the Upload Image button.

3. From the Edit TeamRaiser Pages list, click a page to display the default elements already created for the page.

4. To see how the default page elements look at this point, click the Preview button and then close the page when you are finished to return your focus to the page construction.

5. To make changes, you can:

Note: At any time, you can click the Preview button to see how the page will display and the Save button to save your work.

a Click the Style drop-down menu to select the style sheet for this page.

b Click the Layout drop-down menu to select the column layout and then click the Choose button.

c In the Text Options, fill in any additional information or modify the default text settings.

d Use the WYSIWYG Editor to add more content to the page.

Note: To maintain a consistent theme across all elements, you may want to use some of the same text used in the autoresponders and email message templates. For example, the Sample Solicitation Autoresponder may contain the mission and importance of your cause as well as a description of programs and services.

e If the page has components (such as the thermometer or scrolling lists), select the various options for each component to change the way the component looks or where it displays on the page. For example, you can swap places.

f Upload any JPEG and GIF images you may want associated with components.

g When you are finished, click the Preview button (at the top or bottom of the page) and look at your page.

If you need to make changes, repeat any of the above steps and Preview the page again.

6. When you are satisfied, click the Save button. The system closes the page and displays the Edit TeamRaiser Pages list with the edit date in the Last Modified column that corresponds to the page you just edited.

7. Click the Complete column next to the page you modified.

8. When you are finished making page modifications, click TeamRaiser Information from the third-level navigation bar to be sure that the system has indicated that you have successfully finished this step.

Tip: You must mark the each checkbox of each page in the list (whether you are using the page or not) before the system will mark this task as complete.
