IE8 issues in TeamRaiser?

Is anyone having issues with the behaviour of TeamRaiser using IE8?  For instance, when clicked, a link now seems to hang with the wrapper displaying but generates a blank page or sometimes even times out.  The same link was being directed with no issues in IE7.  It's almost as if IE8 doesn't know what to do with the re-direction.

HI Cynthia,

I actually did open a ticket to support and the following was the response:

"The behavior you are describing in the case is an Internet Explorer 8 bug, but it is not a bug in the Convio teamraiser product so I cannot open an engineering bug for this issue. The reason is because our teamraiser module is designed to remove the links from the teamraiser page when the status of the teamraiser has changes. The links you see in your teamraiser are links that have been manually inserted by the organization. When you change the status of the teamraiser to Accepting gifts only, you need to remove this links from the greeting page of the teamraiser.

I apologize that we are able to assist you with this issue at this time. Please let me know if you have any more questions about this case."

I was just curious as to whether or not there were other instances reported on IE8 and its behaviour.
