TeamRaiser Groupon registrants are not shown in TeamRaiser or participant reports
We're testing out a Groupon discount code for a walk/run event registrations. Groupon is $15 for $30 registration. Registration fee is paid to Groupon, split $15 50/50 we get disbursements directly from Groupon.
User side works and I was able to register myself, however I'm not showing up in the TeamRaiser participant center or participant reports. I've cheked my record and there is no interaction stating I registered for the Shore Run, but the origin application type states "TeamRaiser Participant."
Is there a way to fix this so these participants are listed in TeamRasier and appear on the participant reports? Any suggestions are appreciated.

I don't think the discount code would cause this. We use them all the time.
I wonder if you registered using your Convio admin account? TeamRaiser gets weird if you try to participate with a Convio admin account.

I didn't register with my admin account. I used a new email and also registered my mom to test and neither of us showed up as registrants.
When using discount codes does your organization comp them or do you do partial discounts so the constituents still have to make some kind of monetary transaction? Thanks for your input.

Usually they are 100%, but not always. I've also done smaller percentages and fixed amount discounts.
When you completed the registration did you get the autoresponder? Did you have access to the participant center right then?
Does the participant type you selected have fundraising on?
Is this a published TR and a normal registration, and not a test drive?
Does this happen without the discount?

Hmmm, I didn't an autoresponder directly to my email. I did get the waiver form and confirmation after registering. I accessed the participant center and ran a TeamRaiser participant report right after. I ran the report again and looked in TeamRaiser the next morning hoping I would magically show up, but no success.
This particular TeamRaiser is published and has been receiving registrations and donations. Thanks again!

Can you explain what not showing up in the participant center means? Sounds like you have ACCESS to your PartCenter. Do you mean in the team site member list? Top Participant scrolls?

Really sounds like a private participant.
Try to MANAGE the TeamRaiser in Convio, find your record in the Participants tab, and click the name to edit.
There is a spot to the lower-right which shows if your page is public or private. (See attached.) If it is private, then it is invisible to the scrolls and search. Only those whom you email with the direct link can find you.
Seems like they should show up in the participant reg report, though.
