Extra text after autoresponder content

Options

I noticed that the autoresponders I'm creating for TeamRaiser are adding text after the body content.  Is this because I'm not correctly displaying this information in the body itself, or is it always added?

How can I get rid of this?

  • The transactionSummary error looks to me like a typo in a S120 tag. It should look like this...

    ]

...and you should find it in your AutoResponder's html.

Not sure about the block further down, but I bet its something similiar.

Find those autoresponders in the Donation Form config, not the TeamRaiser.

Edit: Brain dead. The autoresponders on the form are not used when donating thru the TR.

Thanks, but I actually used ] exactly as  you typed it !

As for the mystery block...  The body ends before the block below and there are no tags that could be messing up:

The stationery footer begins with the <hr> below the added block.  This text is literally coming from no where.

Weird. The transSummary tag and the rest are in one of the Donation Thank You autoresponders for the Donation form, right? (It won't work in the TR autoresponders.)

Correction, the ] tag does work in the Thank You for Your Gift autoresponder in TR. We do use it there.

Soz for the misinformation earlier. We should be looking at the autoresponder defs in the TR, not on the form.

As for the second block, if it isn't in the email's html - could the tag for that be hiding in the stationary?

Nope, this is the same stationery we use for all autoresponders.  The header is just the logo/bubbles/bar, and the footer is everything from the <hr> down.

I'm good at having stubborn problems.  I guess I'll just submit a ticket.

Old thread I know,  but just out of curiosity, did you ever hear anything further about where that additioanl text is generated from?

I'd like to be able to edit it if possible.

    Thx,

    Erik

The content appended to the bottom of autoresponders such as the one shown here is controlled by a template file accessible only to Convio staff. You'll need to work with your Account Manager to get a project scoped by Convio's Web Development team if you want updates made.
