Uploading to TeamRaiser

We are planning to upload our offline registrations on an on-going basis for the first time this year.  anyone have any tips, cheat sheets, etc. that you would be willing to share?  Also, am I safe to assume that we are uploading to our current TeamRaiser &, by default, these will be entered into Const360 (as opposed to uploading to Const360 & regs would not automatically be associated with our current TeamRaiser).

I did this about a year ago, but its a bit fuzzy now.

 

I believe what you would do is a Standard Constituent Import (http://help.convio.net/site/PageServer?pagename=Admin_ImportExport_ConstituentDataUpload) with the appropriate Teamraiser Participant Group Id in the GROUP_ID column.

 

If your cons accounts already exist for your new participants then you would use the Segmentation Upload to get them into the group.

There is an UPLOADS tab in the TeamRaiser area. THAT is what you are after.

 

Fundraising > TeamRaiser > Uploads >  Upload Registrations

Note that you control whether to create new constituent records or not when you run the upload, through the "Yes, allow creation of new contact records from this Upload" checkbox.

 

Also, if you don't see an "Uploads" tab in TeamRaiser, open a Support ticket and they can turn it on for you (by default the tab is not there).
