St. Paul’s Foundation welcomes applications for a Database Systems Specialist to join our team. The Systems Specialist collaborates with the Database and Donations Managers, and provides general systems-related support to the Foundation.

Reporting to the Director, Information Systems & Data Management, the Systems Specialist is responsible for data cleanliness, reporting, building reports and systems in service of fundraising goals that may include increasing donor revenue and moving donors through the donor pipeline. This role supports all internal stakeholders including the Development team and their fundraising goals.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with all teams, supporting the development of digital plans for fundraising campaigns.

Support the development of a product roadmap for multiple software solutions.

Assist teams in identifying and solving technology, data or process issues.

Participate in and assist project leads with the implementation of data management initiatives.

Prepare and maintain a variety of reports to support business requirements that assist with analysis, performance metrics, strategic planning and data driven decisions.

Administer user accounts for online donation systems in collaboration with the Database Manager.

Implement and maintain security measures to protect user data and prevent unauthorized access.

Support stakeholders of the online donation system to ensure accurate input and output, technology management, access and training.

Support email marketing (E-newsletters and E-solicitation) and collaborate with internal stakeholders on scheduling, and deployment.

Support the ongoing development of the Foundation Intranet.

Qualifications

Experience using online fundraising tools and platforms. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Raiser’s Edge, Luminate and Team Raiser experience is a strong asset for this role.

Five years of current and related experience in web development, digital project coordination, and planning, with a broad working knowledge of information technologies that provide a credible framework for the preparation and monitoring of web, digital and I.T. related projects/initiatives.

Knowledge and understanding of Website management systems, CRMs, SEO applications and best practices and how to implement solutions in a complex website environment.

Proficiency in project management and ability to complete multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Knowledge of and experience in non-profit industry.

Intermediate to advance proficiency in Excel.

Experience with business intelligence and visualization platforms such Power BI or Tableau.

Strong understanding of UX principles.

Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving, and time management skills.

Ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment, working independently and as part of a team.

Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Demonstrated sound judgment and tact, with ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
