POSITION DESCRIPTION

TITLE: Coordinator, Development

DATE: October 24, 2023

STATUS: Part-time, Non-Exempt, Temporary; This position is a temporary position estimated at 20-25 hours per week from mid-November through mid-February (about 12 weeks)

LOCATION: Danvers, Massachusetts

DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Senior Director, Philanthropy

DIRECT SUPERVISION: N/A

POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the Sr. Director, Philanthropy, the Development Coordinator (Temporary) provides general accounts receivable support to the Development and Finance teams, including data entry, gift processing, account reconciliations and reporting.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs general accounts receivable functions to support Development team.
  • Performs updates of information in database constituent records to assure information is current, accurate & compliant. This includes biographical updates, solicit & consent codes, constituent codes, constituent attributes, etc.
  • Produces accurate mailing lists/labels and prepares mailings as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Director or CEO.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma/GED and / or equivalent work experience required
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience including relational database
  • Proficiency in data entry, use of computer and calculator
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel programs to create acknowledgement letters for mail merges with Raisers’ Edge.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge basic queries, reports, letters, and mail merges.
  • Experience with CRM database, preferable Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge and/or Luminate Online
  • Microsoft Suite proficient
