Printing Action Notes (RE) or Action Summary (RE:NXT)

Hi all,

I may be missing something obvious, but I can't seem to find a way to print all of the actions and their corresponding notes/summaries for a particular constituent. When I try in web view via the Actions list accessed from the constituent record, if I export the list the Action Summary Column is not included. And I can't figure out how to get the Action notes include via database view. Ideally, I'd like to include this in a printable constituent profile summary report, but am not sure this is even possible.

Any ideas?

@Dana Smith you won't be able to do this via webview.

In database view, you should be able to find an appropriate report under Reports → Action Reports. I'm pretty sure that one of them will allow you to include notes.

Also pretty sure that you can add that level of detail in constituent profiles.

But honestly, I would seriously question the need for this. What is the goal of having a list of Actions? Could staff be trained to look in webview? There might be a completely valid need, but I've found that fundraisers are frustrated by the length of the list more often than not.

@Dana Smith Agree with Karen Diener, a Constituent Profile will get you the details on Actions. It's in db view under Reports-→Profiles, Lists and Directories-→Constituent Profile and on Tab 2--Profile Contents check off Actions and check off “Detailed Listing.”
