Modifying Gift Adjustments En Masse

We have a need to modify thousands of gift adjustments (not the gifts themselves) - specifically the GL Post Status. Neither Import nor Global Change seems to offer a way to do this. Any tricks anyone can suggest? The only help doc I've seen suggested deleting all the gifts and reimporting them, which is a terrifying prospect. Alternate suggestions appreciated!

what exactly are you trying to modify? Are the adjustment “posted” (is your RE integrated with FE?)

@Alex Wong - Hi, Alex. Thanks for the response. This is a bit of a moot point for us now, as we have modified them manually, but would still be good to have a better way! We do not use FE. We have a homegrown interface with UBW. We had mistakenly changed them from Posted to Not Posted using the plugin ‘UnPost Gifts’. We then used Global Change to change the GL Post Status back to Posted so they wouldn't get picked up by our interface and duplicated in UBW. However, it only worked on the gifts themselves, not the Adjustment's GL Post Status. There was/is no way I could find to modify the GL Post Status on adjustments.

glad you fixed it. but yes.. this isn't great.

which is one of the reason why I do not like the unpost utility…. BB need to change the unpost utility to be able to target adjustment and/or gift itself.

@Alex Wong - At least if the description of the plugin was very clear that it won't affect adjustments, we would know what we're getting into. Should I put that in Ideas? ?
