We’re searching for a Senior Prospect Research Analyst, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position you will supervise the communications operations including managing all day-to-day activities of the communications team functions—creating and managing exceptionally-written, editorial content for internal and external audiences—and develop strategies to optimize team and departmental performance to support the Office of Philanthropy's evolving goals.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Plans, coordinates, and implements prospect screening plans and processes.
• Evaluates and utilizes screening results and use of additional sources to analyze prospects’ financial capacity, inclination and readiness and present qualified prospects to leadership team for portfolio assignment.
• Develop and executive a proactive research routine utilizing methods such as daily news screenings, reviewing push technology and donor lists to identify first time donors with capacity.
• Proactively identify connections between the prospect and hospital and/or other prospects or volunteers.
• Identifies and researches new prospects and builds a database for both new prospects and donors used to design effective funding approaches.
• Record and manage donor/prospect data, activity, management, and movement in fundraising technology system.
• Work closely with Major Gifts and Pipeline/Donor Strategy teams to help drive and support processes and programs that impact the department’s ability to effectively secure funds


Skills & Requirements
• Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
• Required bachelor's degree
• Required 3 years of fundraising or prospect research experience
• Preferred 3 years' experience in advanced level technology and database skills with demonstrated proficiency using fundraising information systems, such as Raiser's Edge or CRM, Microsoft Office products and fundraising software tools, including Blackbaud Analytics and 3 years of progressively responsible experience in Philanthropy research
