Villa Maria Academy High School is seeking a Manager of the Villa Fund. Villa Maria Academy High School, a Catholic college preparatory school rooted in the charism of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, empowers young women to lead lives of spiritual growth, intellectual inquiry and Christian service.

Manager of the Villa Fund

  • 12-month, full-time (8am-4pm) position that requires occasional weekend and evening work
  • Works with the Director of Advancement to build, execute, and track a year-round fundraising plan for the Villa Fund, the bedrock of the school’s fundraising initiatives
  • Works with the Advancement team to determine appropriate personalized solicitation strategies and manages the direct mail, email, and phone solicitations
  • Works with Advancement team to develop a multi-year, data-driven annual giving plan that sets clear dollar, participation, and qualitative goals
  • Develops goals and strategies that aim to build and engage Villa’s donor base, including current and past parents, alumnae, grandparents, and other community members
  • Recruits and oversees the volunteer peer-to-peer solicitors’ network
  • Identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards meaningful relationships with established and potential donors, seeking and securing gifts for the Villa Fund
  • Writes content for our biannual magazine, Views of Villa
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Advancement
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5+ years of experience in advancement/development or a related field preferred
  • Raiser’s Edge database or other relational database experience preferred
  • Proficiency with social media platforms
  • Excellent communications skills-both written and oral
  • The ability to work independently and within a team setting
  • Project management skills
