What happens to imported contacts in the Participant Center?

What happens to imported contacts in the Participant Center? Do they get added as Luminate contacts? Are they otherwise accessible to admins?

 

I'd prefer that they not be, because if TR users discover that we have their whole Hotmail/Gmail/etc address book, that would not be good.

 

Is there any documentation on this feature? I know there's this, but it's geared to the end user: http://help.convio.net/site/PageServer?pagename=User_TeamRaiser_PC2_Contacts_Import#CSVFile&s_locale=en_US

    Hi Mike,

     

    Nothing is done with the info that is imported. That is only for the participant to see and use. They are not added to the org's email list or anything. Because participants come back year after year the info is stored for future use by that participant but that is it.
