What permissions should be given for TeamRaiser?

On the admin side, what permissions should be given for our event leads to make changes to soft credits and transactions in general?

I'm not 100% here but I'm pretty sure you'll need to add the Donation Form Management permission to their records. Try that and let me know if that doesn't enable them to change this. You may also need to add Contact Managment.

So as I was trying to add additional admin accesses, I found that some donations have the soft credit option, while others (looks to be specific to Teamraiser participants) don't have this option available.   Wondering why these discrepancies exist?

That last one is an event reg fee it looks like, so you don't need to soft-credit that.

I agree with that, however, this walk does not have a registration fee- which is a whole other problem, I guess.  The specific problem here is that Anne wants her donation to go to the team as a whole, not just to be counted toward her goal.  So in order for me to change that for her, I would need to make a soft credit change, correct?  And since the soft credit option isn't available I'm unable to make those changes.

So I asked around and apparently that was a self-donation that was made during the registration process. So since it was seen as Rob registering Anne and then making a self-donation under Anne's registration it's seen as her self-donation. The only way you can re-assign that gift is to refund it and have them/her donate to the team or to a participant.

It wasn't soft-credited to begin with and it's seen as a part of the TR reg process of an additional gift so the option to change that isn't available. The only way to change this one is to refund it and re-process it. If it was done outside the flow of registration you could do whatever you wanted with it.
