  • where can we find other donations pages. your voice blew up.

  • Mike Snusz:

    Thank you!!

  • Loving all of the information!!

  • Yeah, this was a super helpful webinar. Thanks to the presenters.

  • this was a great session. Thank you. I was the person trying to find our customer success manager. If someone can help me with that I would appreciate it.

  • @Karen Potter @Karen Potter Kent mentioned we can peruse all published donation forms by googling df_id

  • I just did that and it returned a list of non profit sites and their donation forms. Each is unique and lends to some great ideas for my npo's site.

  • I missed this! Where can I view the recording?

  • Patti Posey:

I missed this! Where can I view the recording?

    Hi Patti,

The recording and link will be sent out tomorrow for anyone that registered for the event. If you don't receive an email, I would suggest coming back to this thread and making another inquiry.

Slide deck should be posted here as well, again, probably tomorrow.

    Hope this helps!

  • Thanks Kadesha. I wasn't registered because I never received an email about it. I'll check back for a link tomorrow.

    thanks.

Hey there stranger! So good to see your name again! I hope you're doing great!

Here is the link where the recording will be. I'm pretty sure it's available now but I'm unable to test it. But you should be able to “register” like it's live and then get a link to the recording if it's available.

    Karen Potter:

where can we find other donations pages. your voice blew up.

Hi Karen… you can Google “dfid” to see all of the LO donation forms online. I think people will be amazed at what all different designs organizations have created both on their own and through our Professional Services team or with a BB Partner. Some changes can be simple CSS improvements to the “out of the box” layout, while other forms may be fully built using APIs. Easy way to tell if it's an API would be to see if the URL is something like https…. donate.orgname.org/donate-now. That means the API has been placed on one of their web pages and it's not an actual LO donation form URL which would have data points in the URL like “df_id=1234." If you see the “df_id” then that should be an LO form and not an API built form. Hopefully that helps.

    Thanks for joining us today!

    Karen Potter:

where can we find other donations pages. your voice blew up.

Hi Karen… in case you missed the other post… you can Google “df_id” and see all of the LO donation forms that are published. You can even narrow it down. So if you wanted to see what other women organizations are doing with LO donation forms you can search “df_id women” and get results for those. You can change “woman” to any mission really and find orgs serving that mission using LO forms and see what they are doing with them.

    Happy Googling!

Thanks again and hope to see you at future sessions!

  • thank you @Kent Gilliam @ Much appreciated.

  • Thanks for posting this. Are there resources for how to implement the donation form a/b testing, donor cover fees and the donate popup?

Hi Hayley…. I'm hoping they get the links up for those sessions on the O&A hub page very soon. I'll try to remember to post an update on this thread when they are so you'll get an alert. But definitely keep checking back on this page:

    Hi Linda…

Thanks for attending and reaching out. I know it's just a Google application that is added but let's pull in @Mike Snusz and see if he can add some specifics.

    Thanks,

    Kent

  • The Type Ahead donation form customization would need a web developer to setup. If you'd like someone to reach out from the Blackbaud Professional Services team with a quote to do the work, just let us know.

The option uses the Google Maps “Place Autocomplete” feature and your team would need to follow instructions on setting up a Google Cloud Console to use the Maps API.

  • Hello @Mike Snusz

I am setting up an automated abandoned form email following the steps in your document. I am wondering why the interest is set as web interest and not email interest.

    Thanks,

    Hello @Mike Snusz

I am setting up an automated abandoned form email following the steps in your document. I am wondering why the interest is set as web interest and not email interest.

    Thanks,

Hi there! So you want to use a Web Interest because an Email Interest will show up as an opt-out option if someone wants to manage their email preferences. The Web Interest is the best way to track an interest via a hidden field and possibly control content. Hope that helps!
