Constituent list

Hello Everyone, I'm new using Raiser's Edge and I was wondering how would I see and print a list of all my constituents? Thank you.

Whew. Generating a list of constituents is basically easy but can get easily much more involved depending on what data you want to see. You will definitely want to take some of the many BB University trainings on how to use RE. https://www.blackbaud.com/training-support/training/blackbaud-university There is also a knowledgebase that can provide answers: https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase


If you just need names, you can see a quick list with a constituent query, Output Constituent Information > Name, Results or Run now. I have to wonder about the value of a list with only names especially if you're talking tens of thousands of records. I'm guessing you will want more data. But know that query is a grouping tool and most of the time you will create a query to group the records you want and then use the Export module to export the fields you wish to see like constituent code, address, phone, email. Putting these fields in a query will often create duplicate listings.


There is so much more that could be said. See if you can generate the list and look at the training curriculum and start with some of the basic courses.

In addition to what @JoAnn Strommen said, if by “my constituents," you mean the donors you're assigned to as their fundraiser, there are a couple different ways to do that as well. If you have RE NXT, go into the webview (the online webpage version) and go into your work center. They will be gathered there as long as you've been assigned to them.
