Update constituent records with Appeal responses

Hello.


We are BBCRM user and would like to know what is best practice to update appeal responses.  We have received a backfeed file from our Telemarketing vendor with donor responses and need to know best practice plus best method of the doing the updates, since it is going to be a mass update.


The export of the data was done through Marketing Effort and records already include the appeal information.
