HOH - Consent - Optin Attributes

Hi - I have one question and hope you may be able to guide me.


I am trying to understand if Head of Household  - have opt-in but not spouse . So how do you manage that? Do you simply send a mailing to whoever has optin?

I wouldn't say it is an opt-in, as each household has to have one.  By default, constituents are all HOH if they live by themselves.  The only way that box is unchecked is you are a spouse of the HOH.


When you are pulling the export for a mailing, there is an option to only select constituents with the HOH flag.
