OLX Transactions marked 'Not Receipted'

Hi,


Is there a way to mark OLX transactions as 'Receipted' when they are pulled through into batch please?  My default batch column is 'Receipted' but when transactions are pulled through they revert to 'Not Receipted'.  We then have to mark each transaction 'Receipted' manually so they do not pull into E Receipts when we run thank you's.  Seems daft that they are not automatically marked 'Receipted' as donations get an auto 'thank you' which is a receipt ? So wonder if I am missing something??

Roz Lake‍ - Unfortunately, you are correct that OLX does not automatically mark transactions as Receipted when donations are downloaded into Batch.  If you have not already, check out the OLX Idea Bank and either vote for an idea that is already listed or create a new one. 


There is a way to get around this, if you would like this change all of the transactions in your batch:  

1. Within your gift batch, place your cursor in the default field for the Receipt column. 
2. On the toolbar choose Tools > Global Change Receipt.
3. Select the Value you want listed and check the box to Overwrite existing value. 
4. Click the Change Now button.

Dan Snyder‍ - Yep! You can do "Tools > Global Change" for pretty much any field in batch.

I think we worked around this problem of OLX not marking gifts receipted by checking the box at the bottom of the first tab (Get Started) to generate a receipt.  But we do not include the link to that receipt in the email acknowledgement.  (Our email acknowledgement has receipt language and appearance that is more to our liking than the OLX canned receipt.)  The result is that the donor's record is marked receipted after it is processed.

I did create an idea for adding option to mark as receipted in the OLX idea bank.


This is an ongoing issue of double receipting with our online gifts.  Work to change process.
