Social sharing buttons for dummies?

Hi all,


Hoping some of you might have some advice! At our organization we have a small staff team - I'm the go-to Luminate person but I'm not a developer so I run into roadblocks like these fairly often. I've been creating a small e-commerce site for our holiday wish list and overall I'm happy with how everything looks and works - but I thought it would be awesome to add social sharing buttons to the description pages of all our "products." 


I started out with Constituent 360>Social Media and going through the steps there to activate the Social Sharing component but got a bit lost down the rabbit hole - needing to get a JanRain account, then a Facebook Developer account, then enable Open Authentication...at this point I'm not looking to change how people log in or register on our site so I started looking for a simpler option.


I had moderate success with ShareThis, the Facebook share button generator, and the blessedly simple sharelinkgenerator.com, but the share links created from these don't pull in images from the page (see attached screenshot).


Wondering if anyone has had any success with any tools out there, or experience with setting up the component in Luminate?
