How can you turn off the Guest Constituent Linking in Net Community

The new release in Net Community is forcing all guest to be constituents. We do not want guests to be constituents since majority of the time they are not making a financial gift to the organization and the demographic data coming over on the record is that of the purchaser and not the guest so it is forcing bad data into the system. How can we bring guest over as participants from the portal and not have full constituent records created?

We have found that it is linking them to the primary registrants record and that is creating and error message.


When it has "auto-linked" to any record, you can unlink them in the plug-in.  When you are working on an event registration, in the matching screen, right above each guest registration that may be linked, there is a red option to "unlink" them.  Just click that and it will unlink them to whomever they have been linked to.


We then can bring them into RE as guests and not as constituents.
