Export Format and Appeal Attribute Questions

Hello...I have a couple questions both export/report related


1. For an existing export can you change the export format and if so how (example I have an export with CSV format can I change that to Microsoft Word Merge File


2. We are using Appeal Attributes to track revenue codes and I'm trying to find out if there is a canned report I can use to pull monthly financial information or if the only/best way to do this would be via a gift export


Ultimately what I would like is to get total revenue for the month (or some time period) for the appeal attribute


Thoughts/Suggestions??

If you open the export and go to Tools > Export Options, you can change the format there.

While most canned reports can filter by Gift, Constituent, or Campaign Attribute I'm not aware of any that can group by any category of Attribute. You can't include Appeal Attribute in Query output, so even a "canned" pivot table wouldn't work.  But you can get the information via Export, so crunching the numbers using Excel is a possibility.  Otherwise you're stuck using Crystal Reports.

Canned reports under Campaigns, Funds, and Appeal Reports have 5 Appeal reports all of which give the option to include or exclude Appeal attributes. Analytical Reports -> Appeal Analysis also has the option to include or exclude Appeal attribute.
