I am working on cleaning up our proposals in RE; goal is to have Opportunities in NXT show up for current opportunities only.

I've tried a couple of exports and imports back into RE, but I'm missing some proposals being updated.


When I export a PROPOSAL file, the date added is not available

When I query on a constituent the proposal import id is not available.

What am I missing? Is there a better way to export/import or change the proposals?

Hi Elaine!

This has been infuriating me too! I have asked multiple times at online RE support, and I asked at the DC Roadshow this past week. 


I think this is a flaw in the RE system:

1. They should have a query and export type specifically for proposals just like they have for jobs, relationships etc.

2. They should add import id to query- this seems like an obvious oversight where they just made a mistake

3. There should be a way to filter within export for date etc within export so you don't have to export every single proposal a constituent has on their record.


The most annoying part is that no one at Blackbaud has just said, yes this is a problem, we are aware and we are working on it! 


Be a squeaky wheel and I will too and hopefully someone will actually see why this is an issue.
