Reduce Email format checking on imported list

It seems that there has been some updates to the email address checking on imported lists.

So much so, that the last few months have created an issue for me when trying to upload lists causing me additional troubleshooting work just to upload the list.

If there was a better, more specific error that directed me to the line item that is causing the problem, that would be great, but I would doubt that anyone could make that happen.

It seems to me that even if the email address is badly formatted, missing data like "@" or spaces in the email address, etc, the error would cause a bounceback anyway with the actual email once the email message is sent.


Is there anyone who can do something about this?
