Filtering by Amounts?

Soooo... I was very excited when my Development team came with me for an idea for an NXT Dashboard where they could total up gifts by Principal Gifts, Major Gifts and Annual Giving gifts.....


But I quickly ran into a brick wall when I realized there didn't seem to be a way to filter on gift amounts, which is how they define these gift types.... 


Does anyone have any ideas how I might get around this?  I can't even seem to filter on Funded Amount of Proposals...

I'm in the same boat. I'm building insights and need to create a threshold (i.e. Opportunities over $100K). I was hoping there was something I was overlooking as instead of it being a limitation of the system.


I'll even accept an alternative if I can tie an attribute to a static query or list.

I've also run into this challenge.  I think the only way to get around this would be to find a field that is available in Insight Designer and utilize that field to somehow add a size tag (which, full disclosure, we haven't done).
