Sending my first NXT email communications - can you filter lists by email addresses

I have my list of constituents to send the email to, but does NXT filter lists based on email addresses as some constituents do not have email addresses. And, is there a way to exclude duplicate email addresses.

If there's no email, nothing happens with that constituent, and these don't show up in your metrics either. It lets you select which email type you want to use before you send it out, which should help with any duplicates.

Thank you for your response. My database may use the same email address for a husband and wife. Is there a to take out duplicate email addresses or they will each receive one?

I bet in that case they'd each receive one (but I'm not sure. You could test it on some folks in your office). You may have to do some filtering in the database view in order to resolve this issue.

I have not gotten to this point of using this tool yet.  But reading out of curiosity and knowledge.


It's seems awful if BB did not do what other 3rd party email services do and have an auto de-dupe that doesn't even question, it just removes duplicate emails..... I sure hope BB has addressed this or there will be quite a few frustrated users
