This document explains what the Settlement Date value for a transaction within Convio means, and why that date may be different than when the transaction funds have changed hands.

  • We are having a hard time figuring out what to do when a donation says "unsettled" in the system.

    Will we be notified if a credit card donation failed? Why would a donation remain unsettled longer than others?

  • Lindsi - Sorry for the delay in this reply. If a donation remains unsettled longer than others, there may have been an issue with the process or perhaps with the card itself. It could be any number of things that caused a card to not settle. The first recommendation would be to contact your payment processor/merchant service provider and inquire about the charge to see if there was an issue.

     

    If need be, Convio should do some research on our end to see if there may have been a Convio issue. So if your processor/merchant account cannot answer your question then please open a case with Convio Support. You can contact Convio Support by phone at 888-528-9501.
