Matching Gift Factors

Hey Community,


I didn't see a thread for my  question, but if there is one, please send it my way.


I'm thinking there is not solution to my issue, but I don't know what I don't know:


We have a company that matches retiree's gifts 2:1 and current employee's gifts 1:1.  The factor field on the Org 1 tab of the organization only affords one number in the field, which forces me to manually change the match amount if a retiree donates.


Does anyone have a more efficient workaround or am I stuck?

Guess it depends on how often you have to do the manual changes if it would be worth it or not. Or what it would do for your reports.

My thought would be a duplicate record for the MG organization for the retirees with the 2:1 match - could put 'retiree' at end of org name to differentiate.

Thanks JoAnn, I'll discuss with my Finance Manager to see what makes most sense.
