Mobile Pay Features?

So I watched the roadmap webinar last week, but I don't recal them mentioning Mobile Pay upgrades. But on the visual roadmap, it says they are rolling out new Mobile Pay features. Anyone know what that is? Anyone know when if PayPal and ApplePay will make it onto the scene?

You should already be able to set up both PayPal and ApplePay for Luminate Online. This Help Documentation walks through the PayPal setup. If you are using BBMS, you can also set up ApplePay. Here is the Knowledgebase article to get you started.

Blackbaud Merchant Services is a prerequisite, which means that the Blackbaud Checkout feature, which includes PayPal and ApplePay, will be available as part of the checkout flow.

I see where the organization can use it to accept payments, but what about a user, during a pledge drive, going to our site from their own device? Can they pay with PayPal or ApplePay there? I am excited about this...thanks for responding!

Hello! The mobile pay integration between BBMS and LO seems to have come and gone. Are there any new solutions available? Using mobile pay at events for registrations and donations would be great.

Thank you, yes Mobile Pay works great for payments. Sadly, there is no integration with TeamRaiser events in Luminate Online. According to Blackbaud support: Mobile pay does not integrate with any other product other than bbms which is the payment processor. usually You can use mobile pay to collect the payments and then export the transaction directly from the bbms portal and import it to your CRM such as altru, RE, Blackbuad CRM, But is a manual export/impot since mobile pay do not carry the transaction over by itself.

Maybe someone has worked with a third-party provider to build out the necessary APIs, etc.
