What does the tag S120:dc:designeeName pull on? Will it work for the following purpose?

We'd like to use it on the confirmation web page and thank you autoresponders attached to donation forms to personalize the messaging. For example, our standard giving form asks donors to give to "The Western Fund" but also allows them to direct their gift to "My Faculty or School," "Robarts Research Institute," "Mustang Athletics," "The Parents' Fund" or "Other." Right now we just write very generic copy for the confirmation page and autoresponders attached to this form (i.e. Thank you for supporting Western.) Would using the S120:dc:designeeName allow us to personalize (i.e. Thank for supporting your Western student-athletes vs Thank you for accelerating medical discovery by supporting Robarts Research Institute vs etc)?
