Out of the Box - Responsive NetCommunity Parts

Are NetCommunity parts going to be responsive out of the box (similar to mini donation form beta) or will they continue to require manual styling?


I attended the 7.1SP2 webinar October 31 2017 (speakers were - Pallavi Paranjape, Robert McAllen and Rob Kiser) where is was stated  in the 2nd half of 2018 Blackbaud will be making enhancements to Event Registration UI..."Modern and mobile responsive" and a full (responsive) donation form would be would be available.

at around 48minutes into the webinar Robert McAllen discussed NextGen email - making it easier to use/build responsive emails...Drag and drop functionality in NetCommunity etc.


I am also curious about other part enhancements and changes such as the eSTORE (which I believe is being discontinued... is the alternative to this part now?) or the Volunteer Opportunity part - will it moved into a responsive format?


I contacted Tech Support today to get more information/a specific date on a release date for these enhancements... And was told to post the question here.


The problem is my company is moving into a responsive website (built outside of NetCommunity) with links to NetCommunity parts/pages that are not responsive...

I am looking for a  clear outline of what will be moving into responsive and when - this way we are not spending time and resources styling parts that are to be updated soon.

 

To sum it up what is happening with the following parts (as far as updates/making them responsive) and when will it be happening?

• Donation forms
• Event registrations
• Volunteer Opportunity
• E-store
• ‘Drag and Drop’ responsive email
• Responsive menu

Hi Ami,

I'd be interested to know more about the donations and event reg pieces that Mike asked about. Are there changes planned there?

Have there been any updates around this? We're also moving to a completely responsive website soon, and knowing NetCommunity isn't responsive out-of-the-box has us looking elsewhere.
