How to send an email to all Tributes Champions?

We would like to send a follow-up seasonal email to all our Tributes Champions. Would I do this by setting up an interest category or a group, then setting up an email campaign for them? Or can I do with within the Tributes module? Also, we have a feature request: Teamraiser has the ability to set up 3 followup autoresponders for participants - but we don't see that option in Tributes. Is that in the works?

You are correct in that you would set up a group and then message that group. Also, enhancement request noted.
