Creating a documents in the community

Why is it I am only able to create documents for the following communities?

1. Open Initiative

2. Product Feedback

3. Email

4. Job Board

5. Migrating to Convio from Kintera

That is to say, when I click on New > Document. The dropdown I get for which community that document is for only lists those 5 options. Email is a sub-element of Product Feedback, by the way.

Is this true for anyone else?

Yeah, I think that's the default. I'm guessing they don't want just anyone creating documents.

Well, be that as it may... 1) Why not? 2) If that's so, then why allow any, and more to the point, why allow that random assortment out of all the other possiblities?
