Recording who won my drawing's items?

Hi everyone,


If you record who won your drawing's/raffle's items, along with your ticket sales for said drawing/raffle, how do you do it and where do you enter it in RE?

Also, how do you record your ticket sales when it comes to tax deductibility?

When we had a raffle as part of our big gala event/auction I entered "raffle tickets" in reference field. All the funds went into a specific fund for the event. We wanted to record names and addresses of those attending/participating for future developement dept endeavors. People were just thanked for supporting the Y by attending/being part of the gala.


Raffle tickets and drawings as I understand it are considered a game of chance/gambling and have no tax deductibility. Fundsvcs.org is a great reference for this question.
