OLX for GIK $0 donations

My organization would like to use OLX for in-kind donations to eliminate the paper forms, that are either typically incomplete or illegible. We would like to include a text box for item descriptions. Has anyone used OLX in this manner and if so, please advise?

I don't see why you couldn't. During form creation, just make the Comments box available. That's where you'd enter the descriptions.  We don't use OLX like this yet, but maybe someday.

Thank you..but the donation form won't take a $0 value, but it will let us set up a $0 ticket for an event, but the event portion is being a apin as far as needing a descriptive area.

Hi Angela! I just created a similar post without seeing yours. We have the same issue. We desperately want to have an i-pad at our front desk for donors to fill out and in-kind version of a donation form with "donation amount" replaced with "donation value" and a comment box for the description. This would eliminate our paper forms, manual entry, filing, and sending receipts. It seems the only option in OLX using an event form like you said. But that comes with its complications as well. Since it's still an event form, it's not the most visually appealing and you can't include gift attributes in the acknowledgement email so the donor wouldn't receive record of what they donated unless you did a separate email mail merge maybe once per week or so. Our only other option right now is a google form imbedded on our website but with this staff still has to manually enter the gifts or use a tool like import-o-matic. Blackbaud we need this functionality!!
