  • Hi Lynn

is this a new issue or has this always been the case? If new have you changed anything - new printer, new version of Windows...

What if you "preview" the report first? Can you print from there?
  • It started happening after I received a
    Windows 10 computer.

  • what version of RE on you on?  I know our gift officer had issues when they upgraded her to Windows 10 and we were on 7.92 at the time
  • We
    are on version 7.96.

  • I'd suggest reaching out to support for this sort of thing. They'll be able to help you much more quickly than the community (probably).

Was just going to suggest the same thing

Unfortuantely this sounds like it is probably more of a 'personal' problem...something not set right with your site and/or they do not have integration figured out with Windows 10 yet

When I was "forceably" switched to Windows 10 to accomodate software and upgrades to other software needed for other parts of my work, I had issues printing reports from RE also.  Asked IT if they remembered all they did to fix but he doesn't (we're going thru some major org-wide software upgrades right now).

For me there were printer issues and issues with Outlook integration. It was a bit crazy for a while as I actually had two complete computers set up on my desk until it was fixed. I told them I wouldn't give up the old one until all was running correctly. My solution was to email reports to myself on other computer and print from there.

We IT did get it fixed eventually. Don't give up hope.

I seem to remember some problems with incorrect/out-of-date dll files associated with Crystal Reports (which is used for canned and custom reports) causing this behavior.  There can be conflicts with older dll's and modern Windows printer drivers.  See if this helps:  https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/44813
