raisers edge contact data entry

Options
Hi does anyone have a good way of entering constituent contact around an event that they are willing to share?  The constituent may or may not become a participant.  I would like to track constituent contact points i.e. asking a constituent to speak at an event and log their response in a measurable way.  i.e. xyz asked to be speaker at z event, outcome:  declined no interest in school, declined - unavailable, declined - unavailable, booked next year etc.  I would like to run a query to measure year on year activity and responses around specific events.  I would also like to be able to track which constituents have already been asked, who needs chasing for a response......  Is this best created in the events tab or as an action track.  Advice appreciated.

  • If you have the proposal tab I might use a proposal purpose for this. Ignore all the financial information but you can use the status tracking and use the event appeal/campaign on the proposal and track everything else in actions linked to the proposal and/or notes/attributes.

My suggest would be to put those in Actions.  That way you could track the asked, reponse and all that in the Action Attributes and/or Action Notes
